Have you guys read this fic by @kyluxtrashcompactor because it is brilliant. It’s such an interesting inversion of the high school trope, where Hux gets to be the rebellious kid instead, and Ben is the straight-laced one. It’s masterfully written, and works wonderfully well. I highly, highly recommend it!

I hope that everyone can forgive me for the late update, preparing for this hurricane has taken much of my time, but I wanted to get this up before I lose power later this week! “And now you’ve disappointed me.” Hux replied dryly. Kylo kept crying, loud wet wails in the night that drew no more attention than a brawl would have.

“Of all my mistakes, this one will be the end of me, I am sure.” He cried, burying his face into his hands.

Hux’s brain finally focused in on the most important bit of information, one that blew Kylo’s earlier betrayal so far out into the sea that he nearly forgot that he was angry about it. Hux turned to face Kylo, and for the first time looked him in the eye.
