Armitage Hux labors under a great many social tribulations: a red haired bastard, who is declared both unfit to serve the British army and London’s werewolf pack. To top it all off, he is attacked by homicidal mechanical ladybugs, indicating, as only ladybugs can, the fact that something is amiss in London and that danger, as always, lurks.

When a plot threatening the Queen is revealed, both the barely human Mister Hux and the vampire Lord Ren are on the case, following a trail that leads them both deep into the secrets of supernatural society.

Werewolf Kylo is terrorizing towns and Hunter Hux is hired to take him out. But, despite how skilled Hux is Kylo gives him trouble. This game goes on for weeks. Until one night the Werewolf seems different, and that’s when Hux realizes with a cold sweat that this is not his Werewolf. This one is out for his blood.
Just when Hux is pinned down and about to get his throat ripped out, Kylo appears and tears the other Werewolf off of him. They fight over Hux, and Kylo wins, but not without getting injured.
Hux is left with a terrible decision: does he finally kill the creature he’s been hunting, or does he help the man who’s been the only thing he’s been able to think about for weeks?
