I’m starting NaNoWriMo on Tuesday and will have to write 50,000 words of, like, NOT PORN, so I wrote 9K words of Kylux smut to cleanse my soul. This is my new low.

Ok listen I was in the tags last night on AO3 (I’ll let you guess which tags) but LET ME TELL YOU.
Hux has this amazing, almost awful clinical detachment about “spending a night” with Ren, and so he negotiates his way into Ren’s bed with a calendar and a list of expectations.
Ren is a virgin, and this brilliant author gives him such layers to his characterization. He’s shy, yes, but he’s not simpering. He loves praise, but he doesn’t fawn and lose his autonomy. He is excited about the experience of sex for the first time, but he is not Hux’s toy.
There are so many little subtle differences in the way their interaction comes across, and Kylo just makes me weak. He has, apparently, the same effect on Hux.

It’s not that Kylo wasn’t trying to summon a demon; it’s just that he didn’t think it would actually work. He also didn’t prepare himself for the hypothetical demon that he probably wasn’t going to summon to be so damn hot.
