Hux focused on keeping his expression neutral, faced with the impressive height and bulk of the man in front of him. He could already feel that terrible, horrible, no good, very bad part of himself perk up at the tableau before him: the man was wearing slacks with no creases, a wrinkled button down with the top few buttons undone, and no tie. His eyes were dark, his features were oddly proportioned, and his hands were enormous.

Kylo Ren returns to the Finalizer after completing his training to find General Hux missing in action. Determined to prove himself as a leader, he resolves to find the general no matter the cost. The Force, however, has other plans, and Kylo finds out more about the past than he does the future.

The first piece took me a million years to finish, but I did the second in a day D-: Who needs a consistent art style anyway??

This summary sounds so menacing lmao but I kinda like it, despite or maybe because the actual fic is basically just sweet makeouts and Ben trying not to blurt a love confession. This is based on that high school AU idea I’ve had in mind since January 2016!! I changed some things from the original concept and condensed it into this 7k oneshot. I’m glad I finally gave this a shot; Snoke-free Teen Ben is kinda hard to write but this is a cheerful verse for the most part~ maybe I’ll eventually do the college AU follow-up where Hux has to save the day when Snoke tries to mentor Ben.
