Hey kids, my Best Goblin Friend, creepycreepyspacewizard, could use a little assistance. They recently produced an AMAZING ART BOOK (DID YOU BUY IT?) and have already mailed out the pre-orders to us lucky people, but the shipping costs ended up being a LOT higher than initially expected, so that expense had to come out of their pocket.
And if you’d also like a little something, send me an ask saying you donated (mention the name or message you leave on the page) and I will either write a short drabble for you (your prompt, pairing choice, etc.) or I will scribble up some attempt at art. Let it be known that I am not an artist in any way – it will be chicken scratch stick figures. It will be the shittiest combo of pictionary and drawful and all those other games. But I will attempt to draw absolutely anything and that should be fun and/or hilarious. It doesn’t even have to be a fandom I know if you’d like some really confusing attempts.
Also, I will attempt to do this drunk for added comedic effect. If you’d prefer a sober or more serious approach, let me know and I’ll save your prompt for a different day. Mostly I’m just looking at having a fun time with you all this evening!

Hi everyone! I’m trying to gauge if there’s any interest in a kylux remix exchange – read on and let me know if it’s Your Thing.
what it is?
A remix exchange is a gift exchange where writers ‘remix’ each other’s works – taking the basic premise of a story and putting their own spin on it. Basically a mutual appreciation society 🙂
Since the kylux fandom has gone a bit stale while we wait for TLJ but there are so many amazing stories in the AO3 tag, let’s take them out again for a spin.
how would that even work?
To sign up you’d need: 1) an AO3 account 2) to have written at least 2 stories (wordcount over 800 words each) or 3 stories (wordcount over 500 words each) by the time sign-ups close, so that whoever gets to remix your work has some variety to choose from. The fics don’t have to be completed to be offered up for remix – WIPs are also cool – and matches will be made on the basis of questions included in the sign-up form to make sure everyone is as happy as they could possibly be.
After the matches are done, partecipants will have to write a remixed story of at least 500 words – and hopefully a great time would be had by all while we wait for Episode 8 to fuck us up in December. The end!

If this idea seems like something that’d be up your alley, please let me know! If enough people show interest I will come up with a schedule and go ahead with sign-ups, otherwise I will cry hybernate the blog for a few months until the fandom gets going again. Also, this is still fairly tentative so if you have any suggestions re: organization and whatnot please feel free to share.
Hi, I’m not the most well known author in the fandom, nor the most recced or read, and I don’t feel like I have a right to ask for anything, but I am, and if you disagree that’s fine.
My name’s Amy, I go by dreamingofawolf here and on AO3 (also twitter, but I barely use that, so it’s not entirely relevant) anyway, I’m in a bind, my mental health is declining due to a less than fully functional old laptop – which sounds ridiculous, I am well aware – which I use to distract and generally cope with the world.
I also use it to write on, when it deigns to function, I have a roster of half finished pieces waiting to be fully finished when I can type more than 150 words without hand cramp from using a phone or restarting the laptop because it’s conked out on me.
I wrote Moiré on this laptop when it functioned, and Better Hemispheres (in which I accidentally fucked Hux with a Death Star shaped anal bead…)
I created a gofundme (here) to raise funds to purchase a new laptop, hopefully a good quality machine that will last for many years and give me enough time to get through therapy, get out of the house, get my mind back, get back to writing and funnelling my anxiety and nervous energy into something productive and shareable with the community.
