brawlite:

one time, i wrote a love letter to: poetry, apathy, rain, and kylux. i poured my everything to it, polished it for months, stuck it on ao3, and sort of promptly forgot about it.

then –

i reread this love letter, my fic, from the landscape: a sense of scale today and came to the stark conclusion that: this is it. this is the best thing that i’ll ever write.

it’s about boarding schools and love lost and too many days spent wishing for rain. it’s about horse chestnuts and a love of pretentious poetry, and finding yourself after so many years in a city surrounded by people – but just not the right ones. it’s about a lot of things, and also nothing – but mostly about hux and kylo connecting, drifting, and finding each other again.

so i guess this is just me saying: if you’re going to read anything of mine, please read this fic. i’m very proud of it and it’s really, truly, the best thing i’ll ever write.
