Okay so… the Resistance captures Hux & try to get the location of Kylo out of him. Nothing works, even torture which Leia objects to, so they bring in Rey to search his mind. She finds a constellation. It takes weeks to find it in the starcharts all while Leia thinks it looks familiar. Kylo isn’t there. They wasted time. Kylo & the FO win. When Kylo comes to free Hux his robes are in tatters revealing the constellation of moles between his shoulder blades. Hux focused on what he loves most

More about The Robe i.e. What if Armitage Hux is a Palpatine fanboy

purusintellectus:

By now the infamous black robe Hux wears in Phasma is its own character, and we all have a precise image in mind. Needless to say, that’s a sexy, silky and half-naked image. But. There is a but. Indulge me for a second.

In SW not only are robes common articles of outdoor clothing, but they are also charged with meaning: they are what Jedi and Sith wear. A black robe is a Sith robe. Emperor Palpatine used to wear a simple black robe. Robes are uniforms. And Hux wears his robe like a uniform

I like the idea of Armitage getting ready for Kylo, in his wanton, silky and sexy robe, as much as any other girl does; but I am becoming more and more convinced that, in his downtime, General Hux dresses up like the old Emperor. Besides, we know from Before the Awakening that Hux is one of the hugest nerds the Galaxy has ever seen: he takes the time to explain how Starkiller works to the stormtroopers – even to those working in sanitation! Him cosplaying Palpatine is just the next little (oh, so little!) step.

[OR. Or. If Hux’s robe is actually intentionally reminiscent of a Sith robe, there might be some plottier implications. But that is a topic for another post]

Okay, but protective Hux

  • Snoke is tearing into Kylo. Hux watches and he hates it. Kylo was following Snoke’s orders. He did the best he could. It’s not fair. It’s not right. There’s a sudden silence and Hux realizes with a jolt that he said it out loud. He’s terrified, but he stands his ground.
  • They’re on a backwater planet, undercover for some reason. Some rando with a death wish gets in Kylo’s face. It doesn’t matter. They need to move on, but then the guy says something petty about Kylo’s looks, or his parentage and the next thing Hux knows, they’re in a bar brawl and he threw the first punch.
  • Their ship is down. Kylo is injured. FO reinforcements and Resistance fighters are in a race to reach them first. Kylo tells Hux to leave. It’s Kylo the Resistance really wants. Hux calls him an idiot and steadies his blaster, trained on the door.
  • Kylo gets captured. Hux burns a path across the galaxy to get him back.
  • Ppl knowing you don’t fuck with the Knight. If you survive round one, the General will come for you.

Rec me some fic or send me headcanons. I need this in my life rn.

Original concept for a young Snoke, before the dark side twisted his features. I have so many questions surrounding his origin, I wonder if it will ever be revealed in canon.

So I’m not the only person who ever wanted Snoke backstory… I love what you’ve done with this design. He looks really fey and mystical, and the whole aesthetic he seems to have going on in TLJ is prominent but somehow made even more sinister by making the rest of him beautiful as well.

Also the imagery you have going on with the insects intrigues the hell out of me. What do they mean here? Do you have any headcanons about this version of Snoke, like what his story is? I love this. I’m too in love with this. Why am I so lowkey thirsty for Snoke. Well, with this Snoke, hard not to be.

I LOVE THIS!!!!!!

I have the Snoke head canon that he is perusing immortality and that’s why he needs the Force sensitives- to renew himself. He’s actually an ancient being that keeps escaping death through the power of the Force.

This art is GORGEOUS. THE DETAIL!!!!

Kylux ‘saying “I love you” without any words headcanons:

– Kylo kissing the sensitive spot just under Hux’s ear before he leaves their quarters in the morning

– Kylo barely placing his hand on Hux’s lower back as they stand on the bridge together.

– When Kylo comes back to the Finalizer after some strenuous ordeal, no matter how fruitless the outcome, Hux has a meal waiting for him and the time to help him undress and ready for bed.

– Hux tending Kylo’s wounds himself

– When Kylo wakes from a nightmare, struggling with the sheets and covered in sweat, Hux is already holding him.

– Kylo slipping his arms around Hux from behind and resting a chin on his shoulder.  Hux reaching back to tweak his nose.

– Kylo distracting Hux from his work when he grows too anxious, too obsessive.  Kylo fondly pulling his co-commander card to order Hux to stop and spend some quiet time with him.

– Hux wishing Kylo well before he leaves the ship with Phasma and her team.  A quiet, unnoticed squeeze of his hand says everything they cannot say in front of the crew.

Kylo memorizes and remembers every scar and freckle on his lover’s body throughout the lives they’ve been together. Sometimes he touches Hux in a place where a scar had been in another life.

jeusus:

When there’s a commotion, he still gets the urge to jump in front of Hux and put his arm over where Roman Emperor Hux got stabbed before he could protect him, dozens of lifetimes ago. There’s a darker patch of freckles right there, above his heart.

Sometimes the others remember. There are dreams, images and flashes of things. The General frowns and wonders at the decorative crowns his brother weaves out of copper wire, staring at them as Techie stammers that he saw them in his dreams. Kylo is silent, remembering how Hux had looked wearing his own.

jeusus:

Techie puts copper wire laurels on top of Hux’s head while he’s busy working at his desk one day, and whispers in his ear something about sparing the life of a slave. Hux turns back and asks “What? What did you just say?” But Techie laughs and says he was replaying a weird dream he’s had where Matt had been sentenced to death by Armitage for punching a legatus.

“That’s silly”, Hux replied. “I would never bring harm to your precious technician.”

“I know,” Techie said, “but I still felt the need to save him even if it was all a dream.”
