This is all @robespierrre‘s fault. I am now officially Kylo Amidala trash. (God, I’m a trekkie what am I thinking. *cries*)

General Brendol Hux III had been debriefed extensively on Senator Amidala, the Resistance’s most powerful ally in the senate and son to General Organa. Supreme Leader Snoke seemed to think he was the missing piece to finally get the Republic to fall under their power and ensure the First Order’s rule over the galaxy.

The reports talked about a powerful personality and cunning intellect hidden under layers of silk, gold and deceit. Much like the late Senator Amidala, his grandmother, he wielded his appearance like a sharp sword, always ten steps ahead and never willing to back down. What the reports didn’t mention, and Supreme Leader Snoke was quick to warn him against, was that Kylo Amidala was a powerful force user and the only one allied to the Resistance who knew how to use the dark side. With the strenght of both light and dark, he could be the key to change the galaxy’s future.

From behind a pillar of stone in the first level of the Senate, he observed Senator Amidala, his pale skin almost glowing in dim light, dressed in a blood red robe that matched the colour of his lipstick. No wonder other politicians seemed to stop at the physical part of him, he was truly stunning and Hux was sure, if he were to smile, he could probably obtain anything he asked for.

Then the man stopped in his tracks and raised his head, his brow furrowed, as if listening to something. And then he moved his gaze and pinned the red haired man with a cold stare.

“You seem to know a lot about me, I do believe it’s time you returned the favour, General.”

I live for the idea of Hux correcting Kylo’s posture and using it as an excuse to touch him. Kylo is hunched over so Hux puts pressure on him to stand up straight but keeps his hand there, fingers twitching ever so slightly. Kylo slouching when he’s walking, not at his full height, Hux pressing a hand to his back to straighten him, pretending it’s not pda. Kylo hunching in a chair, Hux bringing his shoulders back with his hands, resting a hand delicately on his collarbone absently. Idk

Ren broods on the bridge of the Finalizer, watching as they approach some poor Outer Rim planet they’re about to neatly conquer and incorporate into the First Order’s system, one hand gripping at the safety railing (in case of a total loss of power/gravity, okay?). This will bring them one step closer to the Supreme Leader’s goal of galactic domination, soon he will stand at his Master’s side and bring the galaxy in line with their vision. Order can only be achieved through control, he remembers, his shoulders unconsciously hunching as his jaw clenches, remembering how often as a child he watched the rabble of New Republic politicians through his mother’s eyes, frustrated with their inability to coalesce voluntarily into any sort of productive cooperation. Their vision was too limited, they were unable to see the need for a strong guiding hand, but soon, soon they will come under one united rule. He grips again at the railing, muscles tense, preparing himself for whatever easily won battle he’ll engage in today–

–when suddenly there is a small pressure between his shoulderblades, a warm, firm touch. He did not hear the General approach, so focused on fulfilling their vision. “Careful, Ren,” comes Hux’s soft, dangerous voice, and he straightens up, both in response to the touch and the slinking, curling tickle that voice sends up his spine, straight into his hindbrain. “You’ll hurt yourself if you don’t stand up straight more.” Ren doesn’t have to look over to the General’s face to know the curve of his smirk.

It’s the same smile he allowed Ren to see when he caught Ren leaning too far forward over a data console as he sat, puzzling over intel. Hux had slid his slender hands over Ren’s shoulders, pressing in with his gloved fingertips and pulling his frame back and down, gently stretching the taught muscles of his back and neck. Hux had leaned over him, his body hiding from the rest of the bridge crew the way his thumb nudged up, just under the edge of Ren’s helmet, pressing at the bundle of nerves at the base of Ren’s skull and making his head tingle. Ren had barely suppressed a moan, though the click and crackle of his voice modulator had belied his stoic manner to the General. Ren had observed the General’s reflection in the display screen, jaw dropping a little behind his mask as he watched the wicked twitch of Hux’s lips. “Sit up straight,” Hux had reminded him in a low whisper. “Better posture, better performance, how often do I have to remind you?”

Until it stops feeling good, Ren says to no one but himself. It never will.

The counter question: do you know Kylux fanfiction with dominant Hux? And Kylo being a mentally fucked up virgin hating and wanting his General? Or just anything along the lines of Hux being a top.

Aesthetic for the fic Child of the Moon Flowers by @ginger-and-knight because I really enjoyed it!! It was rec’d it for some fanart (I’m working on that) on my side account (@theriseofthefirstorder), but I felt the urge to do an aesthetic for it because it was riveting.

Ren takes Hux to a dance club and teaches him to twerk. Hux takes Ren to a raw vegan restaurant and to see the Imperial Orchestra. Millicent likes Ren more than Hux, Phasma mostly ships it while also being pursued by a secret admirer, Ren puts down a deposit for a treehouse on Endor, and the pair attend the Starkiller Base inaugural gala together, wherein a small moon is blown up and Ren wears a ball gown. Meanwhile, the Corellian government sues the First Order for property damage and gross misconduct related to the weaponry summit, while also sticking them with the $16 billion repair bill.

Notable Fandom Phenomenons (that you may be confused about)

Children, Wake Up by @hollyhark. The biggest fic series in the fandom. Beautiful, long, heartbreaking and updated weekly. You can read it here

@reserve’s Witch AU. The greatest AU never to be written. All posts related to it can be found here

Kylo Ren’s Big Dick. Origins on this one are hard to trace but I suspect a combination of common sense, thirst, and Adam Driver’s general stature had a lot to do with it. A great example of fic is by @eralkfang and can be found here.

Honeycomb by @bettydays. The Daddy Kink fic to end all. Beautifully written and pretty much universally loved by the fandom. You can read it here 

Emperor Hux. A logical extension of Hux’s role as General combined with the fandom’s need to force him into fancy regal outfits. A great example is by @that-vicious-vixen and can be found in all its glory here 

Myspace AU by @horatiosroom. High school AU with scene kid Kylo and awful teen psychopath Hux who has a thing for vivisection. This started as one piece of art and morphed into this incredible collaborative thing that just keeps on going and it is glorious. Content related to it can be found here (warning for gore and questionable morals) 

Matt the Radar Technician. The origin of Matt is the SNL sketch Adam Driver did, which is here. Fandom did what fandom does best and immediately wrote as much fic as possible. Notable examples include ordr by @brawlite and Who Did You Think I Was? by @ladyshivs

Blue Milkshake/Pink Haired Hux by @nightsofllyn. Pink Haired Hux began as a character in a dream sequence in this fic, and then evolved into a huge thing when this fic was posted with the help of some pretty rad art by @space-emos. The rest is history.

Slave Kylo. Slave Kylo was born from the desire to see Adam Driver in that slave outfit. Notable example art can be found here. Notable fic can be found here by @chickadddddd

Southern Gothic AU by @ocktorok and @sinfullucifer. How does one begin to describe SoGo? Start with this fic and this art. 

Kylo Amidala AU. The origins are difficult to pin down but notable contributions have been made by the lovely art by @robespierrre. Do you like Kylo Ren? Do you like pretty dresses? What are you waiting for?

Millicent. Millicent is a bit like the Marmite of the fandom. You either love her or hate her. She was created from a tweet by Pablo Hidalgo that pondered on the possibility of Hux owning a cat called Millicent. It was intended as a joke but fandom ran with it. A good fic as an example is by @huxology and can be found here 

Lingerie Hux. Fuelled by desire we all have deep within us to see pretty boys in expensive lingerie. Some great art can be found here by @pidgy-draws and here by @letmeputitinyourbutt. A notable example in fic is Indulgence which can be found here. (Edit also @the-pudding-is-a-lie also has really rad art relevant to this here) 

The Knights of Ren and the Trippy Space Orgy of Dreams by @kdazrael. Involves ritual sex. It’s really quite difficult to explain and is best experienced for yourself

Middle Class Family AU by @jo2oo. Deliciously fucked up AU in which Hux kidnaps Kylo and forces him to live as his wife in a super creepy version of the suburban nuclear family.  Bonus points for kidnapped evil children too. You can find posts related to it here.

Spoiled Prince AU by @mythoughtcrime. Kylo is a spoiled asshole who has a habit of seducing his bodyguards. Enter Hux. Find it here.

World War II AU in which Hux is an army doctor and he meets Kylo as his patient. Very good and it has a bonus happy ending despite the angsty themes and period typical homophobia and racism.

An interesting take on the slave!Kylo trope. Hux is more of a tribal war lord who rose out of the ashes of the factions of former imperials. Featuring Kylo as his attack dog/lover and bonus appearances from Poe and Leia as delegates from the New Republic. 

Ex Machina by sual 

AU set in the Star Wars universe in which Ben Solo never becomes Kylo Ren but is instead a weird droid nerd. The Resistance captures General Hux who turns out to be a sophisticated droid who used to be human. Very funny and very heartfelt. 

All in a Day’s Work by thewightknight

Porn Studio AU. Hux is the put upon director who has to step in to film a scene with Kylo Ren when Poe Dameron is late for a shoot.

Hux’s Father is a Grade A douchecanoe. Ren gets possessive. Featuring some A+ bottom Hux and a whole lot of feels. I may have cried. Maybe. Shh.

Hux and Ben are seatmates on a transatlantic flight. Ben is a nervous traveller and Hux is thirsty af. Features making out during turbulence as a “distraction”.

A Miners Strike AU set in Yorkshire in the 80s. I could wax poetic about this fic for hours and it absolutely deserves way more love than it’s been getting. It’s super original and the characterisation is great. Read it please.

Modern AU in which Kylo and Hux are neighbours in an apartment building. Hux has his life together. Kylo does not. Kylo is more than a little bit creepy but in a way that is more adorable than “potential serial killer”. Brilliant use of Millicent. Brilliant everything. Go read this. 

Cell Block Jango by DittyWrites

Kylo and Hux defect from the First Order and turn to a life of space crime. Hux is captured and finds himself sharing a cell with Han Solo. Things only get more dramatic when Leia and Kylo turn up to collect their respective spouses.

Alternate reality version of the Star Wars universe. Not at all what you think it’s going to be. Brilliantly original and a total wild ride while you try and figure out what the hell is going on and who the hell each character is meant to be.
