‘Ren you’re late!’
Ren isn’t the only one who hates to wait 😉

Imagine:
Hux waking up in the middle of the night after a nightmare; the indefinite, immediately forgotten kind that leaves a lingering shroud of unease in its wake.
He has them often, anxious thoughts bleeding into anxious dreams.
Still half-asleep, he’s briefly taken aback by the warm, solid form of Kylo Ren curled around his back. He’s unused to partners sharing his bed – it requires a level of trust that he is typically incapable of, and an amount of personal space that he is almost always unwilling to sacrifice.
What surprises Hux even more than Kylo’s presence is his own immediate, visceral reaction to that presence: an overwhelming sense of safety that dissipates all remnants of nightmare-induced disquiet, a rush of gratitude, and something addictively achy that blooms in his chest.
Kylo slips an arm around Hux’s torso, hesitates briefly even in his sleep, and then firmly pulls Hux closer.
Hux is quite suddenly struck with the sensation of standing on a vast precipice, with the overwhelming urge to jump. He feels simultaneously warm and terrified and invincible, and he can’t process this right now – not in the middle of his sleep cycle, probably not ever – so he just shuts it down, buries the influx of fondness-awe-terror somewhere deep and savors the immediate sensation of Kylo’s warmth.
He just closes his eyes and drifts off again.
