  • feelings of emptiness
  • obsessive thoughts/idealization on a particular person/idea
  • mood swings
  • impulsive decisions and risky behavior
  • unstable self-image

I’m okay with sad!! This is gorgeous– I love the way you used the light, which is so important to the whole atmosphere of his room here, and to this part of the story in general, and I’m so glad you drew this scene. His longing and regret are palpable and lovely and sad, but I think there’s also some real hope here, because he’s reaching into that light ;___; Thank you so much for drawing this! all this talk of monster!Kylo has me itching to write deep-sea eldritch horror Kylo of some description. Or at least Kylo somehow possessed by or thrall to Lovecraftian eldritch horror Snoke.

it’s blurring into the KBB stuff I’m working on, to the extent that I’m tempted to write it up as an alternate ending.  Plot twist: Shit guys, Kylo’s been an octopus this whole time!
