Hux is definitely touch-starved.

The only skin-on-skin contact he’s ever had has been his father’s hits and slaps. Maratelle never touched him, which sometimes hurt more than the stings on his skin from Brendol’s touch.

So when he and Kylo, after a little too much to drink, begin getting intimate one night and Kylo peels Hux’s gloves & jacket off very slowly whilst they kiss. And then Kylo’s hands are smoothing up Hux’s arms and then threading their fingers together, and Hux pulls away, shaking.

Kylo is terrified that he’s done something wrong and backs off immediately but Hux tells him that it’s not him, he’s just never been touched softly, whereas Kylo has hugs and kisses and ‘well done’ pats on the back from his family, and he starts imagining the harsh touches that Hux has known.

Hux pulls his jacket back on but Kylo catches his hand before he can pull his gloves back on and kisses his knuckles, promising that the only touch that Hux will know from now on are soft and loving touches from him. Hux hugs him.
