“Kylo, open your eyes.” Hux breathed the words into his ear and he shuddered, Hux’s breath sending a thrill straight down his spine.

“Ah!” Kylo cried out as he felt Hux’s hand give him another squeeze. He tried to steady his voice, steady his mind. “What.. what is it…” He could barely get the words out, too distracted by what Hux was doing to him. Kylo was practically draped over Hux’s lap now, leaning against him for balance as he thrusted his hips up into the air, desperate and wanting. Part of him knew what it was, really, suspected its intended purpose, but he was too embarrassed at the prospect to say it out loud.

“What do you think?” Hux didn’t stop jerking him as he spoke, letting Kylo unravel more and more, holding him against his body.

Things are getting interesting~

I think one of the most frustrating (but amusing) parts about writing kylux, especially in canon verse, is when you finally get them pinned into a situation where they have to use their words and express emotions like regular human beings, but they still fight it so hard. It’s like trying to spoon feed a child that absolutely does not want to eat. They just close their mouths and keep moving their heads away from the spoonful of emotional intimacy while making unhappy whining noises until they finally get snippy enough to open up so they can retort and you just have to shove it in there before they realize their mistake and clam up again

So much this.

Thinking about how Domhnall just recently said Hux is both desperate to be Snoke’s favorite and win his approval and also TERRIFIED of Snoke; just makes me think about how Hux still hasn’t broken out of his need for approval from a paternal figure, even at the expense of being abused. He’s more fixated on tearing down Kylo than tearing down Snoke, the one manipulating them both, because he’s so fixated on any scrap of validation he can get.

I’d give my whole salary to see a movie where Hux realizes that Snoke’s the reason why the First Order keeps fucking up. Remember the bit in the TFA novel, where Hux tries to argue for a more pragmatic approach (targeting the base on D’Qar instead of blowing up the whole fucking system), and Snoke just shuts him up? It would be fun to see Hux gradually become more and more aware of the fact that the Order’s interests might not be the Supreme Leader’s priority.

SAME!! I’m hoping the twist has Hux realizing how much better off he would be if Snoke were dead, he really needs to break the cycle of abuse because Snoke is basically fulfilling Brendol’s previous role.
