so. 

there’s this SNL skit of Undercover Boss in which Matt the Radar Technician (Kylo Ren in disguise) appears

there’s a movie called Dredd in which Donut Gleecam plays Clan Techie, a soft spoken hacker and slave

we made it into a major side ship where Techie is Hux’s twin brother and there’s fics and beautiful art and JUST SO MANY REFERENCES i don’t even know, babe. we call it Techienician.

most the time Matt is an actual person who is obsessed with Ren and not Kylo himself, but sometimes he’s Kylo in disguise. Sometimes Techie is Hux in disguise and they fall in love without realizing who is who. I even wrote one. mine’s dark af, but most matt/techie is sweet and light and fluffy kind of a counterweight to the evil of kylux.
