The General frowns and wonders at the decorative crowns his brother weaves out of copper wire, staring at them as Techie stammers that he saw them in his dreams. Kylo is silent, remembering how Hux had looked wearing his own.

Techie puts copper wire laurels on top of Hux’s head while he’s busy working at his desk one day, and whispers in his ear something about sparing the life of a slave. Hux turns back and asks “What? What did you just say?” But Techie laughs and says he was replaying a weird dream he’s had where Matt had been sentenced to death by Armitage for punching a legatus.

“That’s silly”, Hux replied. “I would never bring harm to your precious technician.”

“I know,” Techie said, “but I still felt the need to save him even if it was all a dream.”
