Kylo doesn’t believe Hux when he says he can resist breaking from torture if he was captured. Kylo proceeds to torture him – with Hux’s consent – for the good of the FO. Through the physical, mental and metaphysical assault Hux perseveres without using his safe word. Kylo watches him endure with adrenaline and, more interestingly, lust. Kylo takes measures to see just how far that lust goes to keep Hux from breaking.
